Pan STARRS PS2
Installed on Maui Island, Pan-Starrs 2 Telescope (Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System) observes and records the entire sky several times a month.
PS 2 has a field of view of 3.5 ° with a 1.8m primary mirror, actively supported by 36 pneumatic actuators. AMOS provided the Astrophysics Institute of the University of Hawaii the complete telescope mount, including the cells and alignment mechanisms of the primary and secondary mirrors, the tube and the Alt-Az axes system. Its is now in operation.
