Space instrumentation - NOZOMI
NOZOMI Grating and its Holder
This very accurate opto-mechanical system was realized for ATAGO BUSSAN Co. LTD (final customers were Toshiba and the University of Tohoku). It is composed of a grating and its holder, which are parts of a spectrometer dedicated to the observation and analysis of Mars atmosphere at the wavelength of 121,6 nm (Lyman line). This is one of the eight instruments mounted on the “Nozomi Platform” launched in August 1998.
ON FOCUS - Diamond TurningAdvanced Mechanical and Optical Systems (AMOS) manufactures small optical pieces by diamond turning mainly for infrared applications but also, after post polishing, for visible or ultraviolet.
