AMOS has developed a facility for testing the gloves of the space suits worn by the astronauts during the extra-vehicular activities (EVA).
This glove box is a vacuum vessel with completely transparent walls. It includes equipment for the evaluation of the touch of the astronauts through the various materials which could possibly be chosen for the gloves.
Moreover, it is equipped with means allowing to evaluate the skill of the hand when manipulating the space tools.
