OPTICAL COMPONENTS FOR THE ZIMLAT TELESCOPE

AMOS was responsible of the study and the manufacturing of the optical components for the ZIMLAT telescope.

We have supplied:              primary mirror,
			       secondary mirror,
			       third mirror,
			       and different plates.

Each optical components includes the mirror and the cell.

Optical specifications of the telescope:

• optical configuration type Ritchey - Chretien;
• pupil diameter : 1 m;
• focal length : 10.5 m;
• distance M1-M2 : 1336.8 mm;

Primary mirror:

• total diameter : 1015 mm;
• useful diameter : 1000 mm;
• diameter of the central hole : 280 mm;
• thickness : 130 mm;
• material :ZERODURE;
• surface quality : 80 - 50;
• surface quality : better than l / 15 RMS (l = 0.633 µm).
