news AMOS contributed in making the Final Design Review of ELT Main Structure a success!

AMOS is proud to be part of the pharaonic project which is to build the largest ground telescope ever built before. Our contribution included estimating the impact of some design choices on the telescope final optical performance, supporting the design of the telescope main axis control system to ensure proper telescope movement and tracking. In addition, we contributed to defining testing and integration activities related to some telescope critical items.

We then can say that we played a large role in achieve the Main Structure Final Design Review, the most critical milestone in the project.
