project 4m Mirror cell – DAG

Active mirror cell for the 4m telescope Eastern Anatolia Observatory (DAG) – Turkey

AMOS was contracted the realization of the 4m telescope for DAG. In that context, AMOS designed and built the primary mirror cell. It is an active cell with 66 pneumatic actuators and 9 hydraulic actuators used as axial definers, which provide axial support. Lateral support is provided by 24 pneumatic actuators with adapted Schwessinger force distribution.
