Advanced Test Infrastructure
High-precision mechanical assemblies and handling structures installed worldwide for Industry & Science.
Custom-built systems
for space, science & industry.
From thermal-vacuum chambers to custom test systems and industrial equipment, AMOS brings decades of mechanical expertise to every bespoke system it delivers.
Every solution is tailored to process constraints, interfaces, and reliability requirements, rather than built from a standard catalog. High-precision systems delivered for scientific and industrial applications. Vacuum and thermal-vacuum chambers designed and built for testing and production lines.
Engineered Vacuum Systems
AMOS designs vacuum and thermal-vacuum chambers used as space-environment simulators or as process equipment on industrial lines.
Configurations range from compact laboratory tanks to large chambers with controlled pressure and temperature, and, when required, solar simulators or dedicated optical benches.
Each system is engineered with its pumping scheme, thermal shrouds, and internal fixtures to enable representative, repeatable operating conditions.
Beyond Standard Solutions
Some applications require combinations of optics, mechanics, vacuum, and cryogenics beyond the scope of standard equipment.
For these cases, AMOS develops systems such as cryostats, thermal shrouds, vacuum chambers, and high-precision mechanical tooling for handling and metrology.
Designs are tailored to the customer’s process, safety, and integration constraints, with prototypes and series units built and tested in-house before deployment.
Some of our key projects
FOCAL-7
Designed and built by AMOS for the Centre Spatial de Liège, FOCAL-7 is a 14m long, 7m diameter space simulator for optical testing and payload qualification, featuring a 180-ton seismic mass and a 115-ton hosting capacity.
ARCEO Production Line
AMOS built with its customer a prototyping line for galvanizing continuous steel plates under vacuum. The line was designed to validate a new proprietary customer process, and help tuned the process parameters.
VSSC
AMOS designed and built a 4.5m diameter automated thermal vacuum chamber for VSSC in India. Its purpose was testing solar panels under vacuum and various temperatures.
